I Can Help

My name is Sandra Lawrence and I have been a practising counsellor in Kent for the past 21 years.

I am committed to providing counselling (and psychotherapy) in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment


I work with both individuals and couples on short term or long term basis, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Client Centred, Psychodynamic, Psychoanalytic therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy to help my clients.

In counselling, I integrate my models of counselling and psychotherapy, as appropriate, to meet clients' individual needs. Where necessary, I also integrate my health service experience as a nurse/midwife to assist clients.

    I work with general adult bereavement and I also specialise in perinatal mental health. some of my work involves working with any pregnancy related distress.

    I also coach students with exam stress and run courses for health professionals working in maternity bereavement.

    • Location in Kent I work mainly in Margate CT9 & CT8 and Canterbury CT1. Other venues Kent pending. I also offer telephone counselling to suitable clients.
